A pageant wagon has happened upon the Shire of Vinjar, and as with any performance, we don't know what will unfold! This year there will be more children’s activities as well as the usual championship tournaments in target archery, combat archery, heavy combat, rapier and A&S. A Kid's Korner will be available during the feast; smalls must be parent supervised while using it. Visit our website (www.shireofvinjar.org) for tournament details and prizes. But wait, that’s not all! Following court, the Vinjar Players will perform a play for your entertainment. We challenge all the other shires and baronies to prepare their own production. Join the pageant wagon, perform with skill, and collect the prize! Huzzah!

The group spent the night building loaner armor for newcomers. The process involves cutting parts out of leather, adding buckles to straps, sewing pieces together, and boiling complete bits in wax to harden it. Punching holes in leather and adding rivets involves a lot of hammering.

February feast is a special event hosted by Deicyn Moel at his tavern, Drover's Reach. The point of the evening is to win the most while playing games of chance. Tokens are supplied by the house and if you are the biggest winner, you get to wear the Good Luck charm for the year. The biggest loser gets to wear the Hat of Shame and serve in Deicyn's place if he gets in trouble with the local royalty.
The games played this year were Hazard, Farkle, Crowns and Anchors, and Nine Man Morris. There was also a shooting gallery for the children.
